West Yorkshire - Attempted robbery at major store
Police are appealing for witnesses to an attempt robbery which occurred at the IKEA outlet on Geldard Road at Birstall during the early hours of this morning. (18/03)
At around 1:50am, a 4x4 vehicle reversed through the windows near the main entrance to the store where the cash machine is located.
The attempts to access the machine failed and the vehicle made away. A light coloured vehicle is also believed to have been involved in the incident
At this stage there are no descriptions of the suspects and officers would like to speak to anyone who may have seen anything at the time.
