Big M-Cat drug haul
POLICE have seized the biggest haul of the drug M-CAT ever found in the city.
Officers recovered 100 bags of the former "legal high" after stopping a woman during a patrol in Lupset.
They had been given a tip-off from the community about suspected drug dealing on Victoria Grove and arrested the woman last week.
Insp Richard Close, of the Central neighbourhood police team (NPT), said: "M-Cat use and supply is an offence - there is no grey area with this drug.
"Central NPT are motivated to, and will, reduce drug usage in our
communities."
