Brownies find it!
BROWNIES from Netherton, Middlestown and Horbury will be joining in the Big Brownie Takeover this weekend, thanks to their local councillors.
The groups were given 500 from the Wakefield Rural councillors June Drysdale, John Colley and Bryan Denson to fund a trip to the National Children’s Museum, Eureka!, in Halifax.
They will be heading off on Sunday to join other brownie groups around the country to celebrate 100 years of girl guiding.
