NOTICEBOARD: If you run a youth club or an organisation that deals with young people, publicise your events here in the Under 18s column. Contact me by Monday for the following Friday's issue.

SPORT 4U: This youth organisation is working on a voluntary basis to help young people engage in sports and other community activities. At the moment the group runs a Saturday session for boys aged eight-16 from 10am-noon. Girls group runs every Saturday from 1pm-3pm. Activities include football, kwik cricket, art and crafts, listen to music and usage of gym with qualified instructors. The group also does day trips over the holiday periods and also attends football tournaments. There is even a quiet area if you want to read a book or do your homework. Each session costs 1.50. DANCE LESSONS: Jazz/streetdance lessons are held at The Mount J&I School on Monday evenings. Children aged five to seven from 5.30pm until 6.30pm. Eight to 13-year-olds from 6.30pm until 7.30pm. First lesson half price at 1.50. Lessons are also held at Shay Lane J&I School in Crofton on a Saturday morning. For more information, call Samantha on 0776 0253942.
