Ed joins volunteers
ED Balls will join volunteers to help boost a local charity tomorrow.
Fundraisers from children’s brain tumour charity Levi’s Star will be at Sainsbury’s on Ings Road packing shopping bags to raise cash from 10am to 4pm tomorrow.
The supermarket has chosen the charity, set up by Stanley mum Vicky Ringer in memory of her son Levi, who died from a brain tumour, as its charity of the year.
The charity is looking for last-minute volunteers to help with tomorrow’s event. If you can help, contact Miss Ringer on 07971 932610.
