TALKING newspapers for the blind are being supplied free of charge by Normanton Town Council.
Press items related to Normanton and Altofts are recorded on the tapes, which are sent out to blind and partially sighted people in the area. Tape players are also provided, and postage is free thanks to Royal Mail.
To sign up to the scheme, which is open to residents anywhere, contact the town council on 01924 893794.
