Horbury Churches Together
Horbury Churches Together is the successor to the Horbury Council of Churches.
It covers the areas of Horbury, Netherton, and Overton. Nine churches and Horbury Convent are in membership and they belong to the Church of England, the Methodist Church, the Salvation Army, and the Assemblies of God.
The aims of the group are to enable the churches of the area to work together, to grow in unity and to serve the people of the area.
The organisation employs a full-time youth worker much of whose time is spent in Horbury School.
United worship and social events are held regularly. The group publishes a monthly newsletter.
