DRIVERS faced severe delays after a lorry overturned last night spilling more than 15 tonnes of paper onto the M62.

Highways Agency staff worked through the night to clear the westbound carriageway of the motorway near to junction 29 at Lofthouse.

Commuters heading into the city this morning faced long queues as traffic was diverted through Normanton.

The carriage way was re-opened at 9am this morning.

The lorry driver suffered minor injuries.
