Man made child porn movies in Horbury

A MAN has admitted making more than 6,000 indecent photographs and movies of children.

Donald Geoffrey Angus, 42, pleaded guilty to 21 charges of making indecent or pseudo photographs of children when he appeared at Wakefield Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.

The case was sent to Leeds Crown Court, where he will be sentenced next month.

Angus, of no fixed abode, is said to have made the images at an address in Horbury up until May 18 last year.

The photographs and movies ranged in the level of severity from one through to the highest level five.

They included images showing boys aged between three and 15,

Only the brief details were read out in court due to the severe nature of the charges. They included 5,921 photographs and 140 movies.

District judge Marie Mallon awarded Angus unconditional bail and he is due to appear at Leeds Crown Court for sentencing on April 25.
