Men found unconscious in Ossett

SEVEN people are being quizzed by detectives after two men were found unconscious and critically ill near a bus stop in Ossett.

Five men and two women, all aged in their 20s, were arrested in Horbury last night . (Sunday.)

The victims, who are aged 25 and 35 , have regained consciousness and are recovering in the intensive care unit at Pinderfields Hospital .

The men were found close to a bus stop, on Manor Road, at about 7.20am on Sunday.

The homicide and major inquiry team (HMET) launched a major investigation after the pair were found on Manor Road, Ossett, at 7.20am on Sunday.

Both men are in a critical condition in Pinderfield’s intensive care unit.

Detectives are trying to confirm the names of the men who are in their 30s and 40s.

They are also trying to work out how they ended up at the bus stop.
