Speakers will include UKIP members of the European Parliament, along with leadership candidate Paul Nuttall MEP and parliamentary spokeswoman Suzanne Evans.

Nathan Garbutt, UKIP parliamentary candidate for Normanton, Pontefract and Castleford, said: “I am delighted Pontefract is hosting this conference.

“Pontefract was UKIP’s only parliamentary second place in West Yorkshire at the 2015 general election, and the Wakefield district polled strongly in favour of leaving the EU at the referendum.”
