People might soon be able to catch a train home from Leeds later into the evening.
Local transport authority Metro has confirmed that it is reviewing train times.
And Rothwell councillor Stewart Golton said Metro bosses were looking into the idea of creating later trains between Leeds and Wakefield Kirkgate.
The latest train currently leaves Leeds at 10.37pm, which passengers have argued is too early.
Coun Golton said: “This is a key route which links two major cities in the region and it is important that an efficient transport system which operates at the sought after times is in place. It will benefit those who take late night connections.”
