The Miners’ Gala returns to National Coal Mining Museum this weekend.
It takes place on Sunday from 10am until 4.45pm at the Overton Museum.
There will be live music from Grange Moor Brass Band and Wakefield Music Services, face painting, bouncy castle and plenty of other entertainment for the whole family.
Other attractions include a mini animal farm and rescued birds of prey.
Plus there will competitions including a craft competition, indoor and outdoor cycling plus living history along with mining themed talks given by Andy Smith and Anne Bradley.
