Passenger suffers serious injuries near Eastmoor after crash on Wakefield's relief road
A passenger suffered serious injuries after he was hurt in a smash on the city's Eastern Relief Road.
Police were called to the incident just after 4pm today close to the Eastmoor junction of the road.
The officers were attending a report of a collision between a Volkswagen Golf and Ford Mondeo.
A male passenger in the Golf was taken to hospital for treatment to serious but non-life threatening injuries and recovery was arranged for both vehicles.
