A PASTOR is running a marathon between city schools that will raise money for homeless people.

Jonathan Robinson of the New Life Christian Centre started the challenge at Greenhill Primary School at 9.30am this morning.

He is running between another 15 schools across the city, and aims to reach the finish line at Wakefield Cathedral at about 1.45pm.

He is hoping to raise at least £8,000 for the city’s homeless project the Community Awareness Programme (CAP).

At each school Mr Robinson will pick up a cap designed by a child and wear it until he reaches the next school on the route.
