WAKEFIELD detectives have appealed for information after a man dressed as a woman was caught flashing at groups of youngsters.

The suspect has exposed himself three times so far this month.

The first incident took place on December 10 when he was dressed in a black wig, black vest, leggings, a waistcoat and high heels.

He exposed himself to a group of young people who were walking past him when one asked if he was a woman.

It happened at around 10.30pm on Baghill in Pontefract.

Detectives said two further similar incidents happened on the Knottingley Road business park at 8pm on December 20 and on Chequerfield Lane, Pontefract, at 8.30pm on December 28.

A man has been arrested in connection with the incidents but detectives say there may be more victims who have not come forward.

Anyone with information should contact Wakefield CID on 101.
