HIS Royal Highness the Prince of Wales is set to arrive in the city during the next few hours.
Prince Charles will be visiting Kirkgate Station to perform a re-naming ceremony of the Britannia steam locomotive on platform one.
The class 7 locomotive was built in 1951 and was the very first to be designed and built by British Railways.
It was withdrawn from service but bought by a group if enthusiasts in 1969 before being returned to service.
The ceremony will commemorate the locomotive reverting to its original name, Britannia.
His Royal Highness will then visit South Yorkshire visiting Barnsley and Wentworth Castle to see the recent restoration work.
