PUDSEY the bear turned up at a school today to help raise funds for Children In Need.

Pupils at Middlestown J&I School dressed up in spotty clothes to support the cause and to meet the furry mascot.

And other schools across the city have been holding pyjama parties and fancy dress competitions to raise extra cash.

There will also be a three-hour zumbathon event on Sunday at Xercise4less on Denby Dale Road from 11am.
