Traffic on Church Road, Altofts, will be controlled by temporary traffic lights at the junctions with Poplar Drive until Tuesday. It is to allow for emergency works to repair a low voltage mains fault.

Temporary traffic lights will be on Blacker Lane, in Crigglestone, on Tuesday as reflective chevrons on the railway bridge are replaced.

On Thursday workers will inspect and repair the railway bridge on Shay Lane, Crofton. Motorists could face delays as temporary traffic lights will be in place for the day.

Queen Street and Church Street in Horbury will be closed for periods on Saturday and Sunday, June 15 and 16 for Horbury Craft and Street Fair.

Resurfacing works on Bridle Lane, Ossett, will mean traffic will be controlled via temporary lights on Thursday and Friday.

Lee Street, in Wakefield, remains closed as work is carried out to the town hall. The whole road is out of bounds until October. Diversions are in place via Lee Street, King Street, Sliver Street, Marygate and Wood Street.

The carriageway on Dewsbury Road, in Wakefield, is currently being reduced between the junctions of Broadway and Neville Road. A temporary walkway is provided as works are carried out for a nearby housing estate.

Lanes on Denby Dale Road, in Wakefield, will be closed during off peak periods until Monday and cable is installed. It affects the road between Thornes Mill to Denby Dale Sub Station.

Temporary traffic lights will be on Thornes Lane, Wakefield, on Wednesday as reflective chevrons on the railway bridge are replaced.
