Temporary lights will be in place on Harrison Road, in Crofton, from number 27 to the junction with High Street, until Monday, for telecom work.

Temporary lights will be in place on George Street, in Normanton, from Tuesday until Thursday for pond alleviation work.

Netherley Brow, in Ossett, will be closed next Saturday for a street party hosted by the Netherley Brow Community Group.

Park Mill Lane, in Ossett, will be closed from the junction with Wakefield Road to the M1 motorway bridge from Sunday until Wednesday, so that resurfacing work can be done. Traffic will be diversted along Park Mill Lane, Wakefield Road, the A638 Ossett By Pass, Albert Drive, Flanshaw Way, Flanshaw Lane, Batley Road, Park Mill Lane and vice versa.

Temporary lights will be in place on Wrenthorpe Road, at the junction with Wrenthorpe Lane, from Monday until Wednesday, so that trees can be removed and a pavement reinstated.

Lee Street, in the city centre, will remain closed until the end of October due to work being done to Wakefield Town Hall.

A lane will be closed on Wrenthorpe Bypass, near the junction with Red Hall Lane, from 9.30am until 3.30pm on Monday.

And temporary lights will be in place on Bradford Road, from Bowling Avenue to Fox Lane, from Thursday until Tuesday, July 2, while a stretch of road is resurfaced.
