Supermarket staff proved they are a talented bunch during a special fun day.
Ahead of the final of ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent a charity day was held at Morrisons, on Dewsbury Road.
To celebrate the final the store provided fun for all the family including a DJ, face painter, balloon man and drag act Miss Shurlay entertaining customers in the foyer.
The event has so far raised £1,142 for the supermarket’s charity of the year, Sue Ryder.
And as part of the celebrations fishmonger Adrian Whiteley perfectly placed his fish with a Union Jack fish display to celebrate the ITV talent show, which is sponsored by Morrisons.
Sharron Chapman, store personnel supervisor, said: “The staff got fully involved and really enjoyed the day.
“The customers were really engaging and had fun.
“The community got behind us and without their support we wouldn’t have been able to raise this fantastic amount of money.”
Opera singing boy band Collabro won the final of the show with a performance of Stars from Les Miserables.
