Sporty pupils at Wrenthorpe Primary were jumping for joy when they completed a charity challenge.
The whole school took part in the British Heart Foundation’s Jump Rope for Heart challenge on Tuesday.
They were split into groups of six, and took it in turns to skip in relay for a minute at a time for up to 40 minutes depending on their age.
Teacher Sally Mayman, who organised the event, said: “While one was skipping, the others would be dancing. They were on the move all the time. They did so well and were cheering each other on, which was lovely to see.”
Money is still coming in, but the school hopes to have raised more than £200.
