Vintage buses from the past were exhibited at Heath Common last weekend.
Large crowds turned out to the West Riding Bus Group’s fourth annual transport rally and vintage bus day.
A total of 19 buses were running services from the common to Normanton, Wakefield and Kettlethorpe and back with more on display as static exhibits.
There was also vintage cars, a children’s fun fair and a range of stalls at the event.
Arriva Yorkshire, who sponsored the event, marked the 110th anniversary of Wakefield’s bus depot and the 110 route from Kettlethorpe to Wakefield and Leeds with some buses on the route featuring the West Riding livery from the 1960s.
They also opened the bus station hub to the public and had a model display of Belle Isle garage.
Graham Dowson of West Riding Bus Group said: “The event was, as usual, very enjoyable and successful. The annual rally on Heath Common is now becoming one of the major transport events in Yorkshire.”
