The Princess Royal will unveil a new tourist attraction at The National Coal Mining Museum on Tuesday.
Her Royal Highness will go underground in Overton to visit the displays and a subterranean classroom, which have been created as part of the new Go Mining! tour.
The Princess will also see refurbished displays for the Meet a Miner tour and the recently conserved furnace shaft – all of which are part of the museum’s recent £2.7m Making Sense of Mining development project.
She will also unveil a plaque at the museum on New Road.
