VIDEO: Has a ghost hunter captured the voice of a spirit at minster?

A ghost hunter believes he caught a spirit on camera at Wakefield Cathedral now believes he's captured the voice of a another in York.

Mark Vernon, from Wakefield, said he visited York Minster last Monday and was filming in the crypt when he captured the voice of a spirit.

He said: “I don’t know a lot about the history of the place, only what people can gain access to.

“I’m presuming at some point in history a cross was removed from the crypt. It seems to have upset a resident spirit as I do believe he says ‘where’s our cross?’.

“The powers that be regarding York Minster should have knowledge of this cross that needs replacing.”
