A group of neighbours in Lupset were treated to a free night on the town when their street won an Arriva competition.
The bus company worked with Theatre Royal Wakefield to offer one lucky street on the 126/127 route a trip to see tribute act A Night of Queen with the Bohemians.
And Oakwood, in Lupset, was chosen as the winner.
Joan Clarke entered the competition after picking up a flyer on a bus
She said: “I am so pleased me and my neighbour Dorothy entered the competition, it was great to be chosen as the winners and it’s been lovely getting to share this brilliant evening with all our neighbours. By the end of the night we were all on our feet singing along to the amazing Queen songs.”
