Wakefield Wildcats’ player’s jaw broken in attack

A RUGBY league star has been left with a broken jaw after he was attacked in Spain.

Wakefield Wildcats’ player Paul Aiton was hit around the head and mugged while on a short break late last week.

Richard Agar, head coach at the Wildcats, said: “He’s basically been assaulted and robbed. He went for a two or three day trip last week and unfortunately he has been in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Mr Agar said he would be out of action for at least six weeks.
