Property developers and bosses from Wakefield Wildcats will meet later this month to discuss the club’s new stadium plans.
Developer York Court Properties are building a 100-acre business park on land off Newmarket Lane in Stanley.
In June 2012, the government ruled that a new stadium could be built as part of the plans.
But Sir Rodney Walker, chairman of Wakefield and District Community Stadium Trust, said the club were also still looking at the option of redeveloping Belle Vue and will hold a meeting this month.
He said: “I am hoping by the end of January, and after the meeting, to be in a position where we can really move forward with the plans.”
