WAKEFIELD Wildcats stars took a swing on the golf course to help fund a club’s community activities.
First team players, coaching staff and club executives teamed up with members of the public at Normanton Golf Course yesterday for an annual golf fundraiser.
After the teams had battled it out on the course, guest speaker Robbie Hunter-Paul entertained guests at the Rapid Solicitors Stadium and presented prizes to winners from throughout the day.
As well as raising money for the Wakefield Trinity Wildcats Community Trust through an evening raffle, the event also gave players the chance to bond with sponsors and partners of the club.
Hooker Tommy Lee said: “We’ve had an awesome day here and the weather has been kind to us.
“All the lads had been really looking forward to it.
“I’d like to thank everyone for organising the event and hope that we raised a lot of money at the golf presentation dinner.”
The event was sponsored by PrintForms.
