The family of a father of two – who has now been missing for more than two weeks – have appealed for his safe return.
Damion Vernon, 32, of Headlands Close, Bridlington, was reported missing at 5.28pm on Tuesday, December 9.
He was last seen in the Belle Vue area of Wakefield on Monday, December 8.
His family and friends have not heard from him since.
Mr Vernon’s family are becoming increasingly worried for his welfare.
His brother, Aaron Vernon, is desperate for his safe return and has been travelling to Wakefield with Mr Vernon’s fiancé, Kerry Elm, to try and find him.
He said: “We’re getting extremely concerned about Damion and we just want to know he is alright.
“We really do need him home. He’s a brilliant brother and dad and we just want him back for Christmas.
“He’s missed his fiancé’s birthday which is completely unlike him.
“He’s never done anything like this before, we just don’t understand it.
“If anyone has any information please contact the police.”
Humberside Police are continuing to search for Mr Vernon and they still think he is in Wakefield.
His fiance, Kerry Elm, said: “Wherever Damion is, we really just need him to come home.
“He has mental health issues and we are getting extremely worried about him.
“There is no problem too big that we can’t sort out or cope with.
“Anyone with information please get in touch and bring him back to us in time for Christmas.
“We all love him so much.”
Mr Vernon is 6ft tall, slim and has short wavy light brown-coloured hair.
He was last seen wearing a mustard-coloured bodywarmer, a green long-sleeved woollen jumper and jeans.
Anyone with any information should contact Humberside Police on 101 referring to log 438 of Tuesday, December 9, 2014.
