More snow could fall over Wakefield during the next 24 hours.

The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for Yorkshire, with snow expected from around 8pm tonight (Monday) and continuing into Tuesday morning.

Up to five centimetres could fall on higher ground, with icy patches affecting some surfaces where snow has started to melt.

Drivers are warned to take extra care and there could be a risk of some disruption to travel routes.

Then more sleet, snow or hail showers are expected later in the week.
