WIN a car for a weekend with Sitlington Round Table and Mercedes.
One lucky person will be offered the chance to take a spin in a brand new SLK.
The car, pictured, is the top raffle prize for the Round Table and Ladies Circle rowathon raffle.
The group’s members are set to stationary row the equivalent of the Dover to Calais stretch next Saturday.
Mike Smith, of Sitlington Round Table, will be one of the rowers at the Trinity Walk event, which forms part the seaside comes to the city campaign.
He said: “It’s usually quite difficult to get a decent raffle prize so it’s a good support to what we’re doing for Mercedes to come forward.
“We’re hoping to get a lot of attention, we’ve got some balloons for the children and other bits and pieces to give away.”
The fundraiser, which is taking place next to the Fit 24 Gym, hopes to raise over £5,000 for the Round Table Children’s Wish charity.
Around eight Round Table members are set to mount the two rowing machines the gym has donated.
And it’s thought the imaginary journey will take from six to eight hours to complete.
To be in with a chance of winning the car for the weekend you can purchase a raffle ticket on the day or in advance for £1 a go.
Runner-up raffle prizes include Cineworld family tickets and prizes from Blacker Hall Farm shop.
