Woman cut from car after rush hour crash
Two drivers are in hospital following a serious crash in the morning rush hour on Friday.
West Yorkshire Police said that a 29 year-old woman had to be cut from her blue Renault Clio after the accident, which occurred around 8.30am this morning on Southmoor Road in Hemsworth, near the local GP surgery.
A grey Citroen Picasso was also involved, and the car’s 70 year-old male driver was taken to hospital.
It is not yet clear how serious their injuries are.
