BABY-FACED crooner Ray Quinn was supported by 140 kids from Wakefield schools at the Wildcats' Belle Vue stadium last week.
The swing king danced with the children, who learned a specially-choreographed routine to perform alongside the X Factor star, before the Wildcats clash against Bradford Bulls.
Events manager Darren Payne said: “It went extremely well with it being Easter Monday and they don’t come any bigger than Ray Quinn.”
There was a public signing session and 10 competition winners had the chance be photographed with Ray.
He performed four songs from his number one album and did a meet-and-greet.
Mr Payne said: “Entertainments are a great way of encouraging families and children to come here on a match day, and kids are the crowd of the future.”
He said the club was working towards booking a big act for the last game of season and the club will continue with the pre-match entertainments next season.
