OSSETT firefighters are hoping to raise bucketloads of cash for charity by holding a weekend of car washing.
Motorists will be encouraged to donate to the Fire Fighters Charity after having their cars washed at the Dale Street fire station tomorrow and on Sunday, from 10am until noon.

Firefighters will also give out fire safety advice and take bookings for free home safety checks, which involve the fitting of free smoke alarms.

To book a free home fire safety check, call 0800 587 4536.
