A COMICAL twist on a well-known musical drew bumper audiences to the latest production by Ossett's Just4You Theatre.
Panto Of The Opera was performed at St Ignatius Parish Centre last week in a performance with a difference by the amateur dramatics group.

A three-course meal was served as part of the play with the actors dressed as waiters and waitresses.

And the production, a hilarious tale about a drama group trying to put together a show, stunned actors with the enthusiastic response from the audience who flocked to watch it at the Storrs Hill Road centre.

Barbara Brophy, who runs the theatre group with her daughter, Suzanne Brophy, said: “It was sold out on the first night. It was unbelievable how many people came. I think it was because they didn’t quite know what to expect.”

Suzanne, who was choreographer of the production, said: “The response from the audiences was really immense. The show had something for everyone.”

The next cabaret production by Just4You Theatre is planned for early next year.
