Hundreds of people attended the fundraising event held in the town's precinct.
There were performances from Westgate Cheerleaders, Shogun Martial Arts, David Harrison Line Dancers and Crofton Starlighting Majorettes.
And visitors also listened to the sounds of bands including Wakefield Orchestral Wind, Horbury Victoria Band and the Silver Leaf Jazz band plus Ossett DJ Andy Lloyd.
Graham Willis, from Ossett Gala Committee, said: "It was a great event this year and I want to thank everybody who helped make it a success. The gala raised a lot of money for some good local causes."
Charities supported included Wakefield Hospice, the Salvation Army and Macmillan Cancer Support.
For the second year running, Wakefield Geranium and Fuchsia Society held its annual show at the event
The colourful entries were on display in the town hall throughout Saturday afternoon.
Ossett Radio Club held a roadshow at the gala which was again supported by its main sponsor, Ossett Tyre House.
There was also a historical theme to this year's event with a display of old photographs and memorabilia at the King's Way Church.
The exhibition was organised by Ruth Nettleton, from Ossett Historical Society, who recently published her latest book, Ossett Town Hall: 1908 to 2008, to mark the centenary of the town hall.
