LEEDS United have secured a League One play-off semi-final clash with Carlisle following a 2-1 win over Gillingham at Elland Road.
The Gills scored the only goal of the first half to boost their hopes of staying up but Leeds hit back after the break to send the Kent side down to League Two.
Simon Jackson pounced on a poor back-pass from Paul Huntington to open the scoring on 19 minutes.
But a lacklustre United improved after the break and Bradley Johnson's superb volley levelled the match midway through the half.
The winner came two minutes from time when Tresor Kandol broke the offside trap to slam home the winner.
Leeds will host Carlisle in the play-off semi-final first leg on May 12. The return leg in Carlisle will be played on May 15.
Southend will take on Doncaster in the other semi-final.
