WAKEFIELD Wildcats prop Adam Watene will be out for up to three months after sustaining a knee injury.
The 30-year-old ruptured a posterior cruciate ligament and also suffered a cartilage tear just seconds before he was due to be replaced in last week's Carnegie Challenge Cup match at Barrow.

Head coach John Kear said: "At first, we thought it was just a knock but his knee swelled up soon after.

"It is very disappointing for us but we have had a lot of injuries so far this season and we will continue to battle on."
