WILDCATS' Jason Golden is ready to return to his former hunting ground tonight to try and get one over Leeds Rhinos at Headingley.
Golden moved to Belle Vue after failing to break in to the Rhinos first team during his time at Leeds.

And he'll be coming up against some old friends tonight when the two teams go head-to-head.

"Leeds is a big game, it's a big game every year," he said.

"Leeds are a very good team, it should be a good game, the form team against the best team at the moment.

"I've had a text message from Nick Scruton (Leeds Rhinos) saying that I've got to watch for him because he's going to bash me, so when we meet up it should be good.

The second row insists will be a much more even contest from when Leeds defeated Wakefield in emphatic fashion earlier in the season.

"I think at that stage of the season they were playing some of the best rugby that we've seen this year.

"However, at the moment we're right up there, team spirits high, everyone's playing well, and everyone's coming back so it'll be different."

And Golden is happy for the extra competition for places with the Wildcats' squad slowly but surely increasing in numbers of late.

He continued: "The extra pressure's good because you know that if you have a bad game someone's biting at the bit to get in so it puts pressure on to make sure you play well and that you're at your best."
