TICKETS for Super League’s Magic Weekend, which includes the Castleford Tigers-Wakefield Wildcats derby clash, have gone on sale.
Returning to the Etihad Stadium, Manchester, following a successful visit this year, all 14 Super League clubs will again be in action over the weekend of Saturday, May 25, and Sunday, May 26.
Fans have until Thursday, January 24, to take advantage of a big discount on ticket prices.
Fans who purchase a daily reserved magic ticket before January 24 will be entitled to a discount of 40 per cent (using promo code: M4001). It means an adult reserved seat admitting access to a full day’s action, normally priced at £45, will cost £27.
The Magic Weekend 2013 opens at noon on Saturday, May 25, with Catalan Dragons versus London Broncos before derby rivals Castleford Tigers and Wakefield Trinity Wildcats lock horns from 2.15pm.
The third match is the Hull derby kicking off at 4.30pm before St Helens and Warrington Wolves meet at 6.45pm.
Sunday’s action gets underway at 3pm with Salford City Reds clashing with Widnes Vikings followed by Bradford Bulls versus Huddersfield Giants at 5.15pm.
The action ends with a battle between Grand Final winners Leeds Rhinos and 2012 League Leaders Wigan Warriors from 7.30pm.
“Last season’s Magic Weekend proved to be a huge hit with the fans and we’re very excited about taking the event back to Manchester’s Etihad Stadium this season,” said RFL Director of Marketing Niel Wood.
“The Magic Weekend represents incredible value for money and I would urge fans to move fast to take advantage of this fantastic discount which we are offering over the festive period.”
