OSSETT Albion and Wakefield FC will turn their attentions to Doodson Sport Cup action tonight.

Albion will host Brigg Town at the Warehouse Systems Stadium in the first round while Wakefield FC make the trip to Sheffield FC, both matches kick-off at 7.45pm.

Albion could have been facing neighbours Ossett Town but Phil Sharpe’s men bowed out at the preliminary round stage earlier this month.

Lloyd Fellows and Paul Watson, joint managers at Albion, will be hoping for a victory in the cup to help kick-start their campaign.

They currently sit bottom of Evo-Stik Division 1 North and are in need of a victory to boost confidence for their league campaign.

The Bears go into their cup contest having made an encouraging start to their league campaign.

Steve Nicholson’s men drew 1-1 with Mossley at Stade France on Saturday.
