WAKEFIELD midfielder Duane Holmes netted his eighth goal of the season to earn Huddersfield Town U18s a 3-3 draw at Wigan Athletic U18s.

The Terriers made a bright start and opened up a 2-0 lead inside 20 minutes thanks to strikes from George Conway and William Boyle.

However, the Latics levelled matters with a goal either side of the break before taking the lead midway through the second period.

However, top scorer Holmes pounced to secure a draw for Town who take on Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium in the FA Youth Cup fourth round tomorrow, Wednesday.
