STRUGGLING Ossett Albion conceded six goals for the second game on the spin as Evo-Stik Division 1 North leaders Chester made light work of Eric Gilchrist’s men at the weekend.

Michael Wilde hit a hat-trick while Ian Howard scored a brace and Chris Simm also got on the scoresheet as the hosts scored at regular intervals to comprehensively defeat the Warehouse Systems Stadium club.

The defeat was Albion’s fourth on the spin and tenth without a win in all competitions.

It came just four days after Albion slumped to a 6-2 home defeat against Bamber Bridge.

The loss leaves Albion 22nd in Division 1 North and seven points adrift of Cammell Laird, who sit one place above them.

Wakefield FC’s scheduled game at Chorley was postponed, as was Ossett Town’s home clash against Colwyn Bay in the Premier Division.
