Ossett Albion could all-but secure their Evo-Stik Division 1 North status tonight when they host Salford City at Dimple Wells (kick-off 7.45pm).

Albion have been battling against relegation for the majority of the season but three points against Salford would move them nine points clear of bottom side Garforth Town, and the relegation zone, with just three games to go.

Town’s goal difference is also over 50 worse off than Albion’s, meaning victory for Richard Tracey’s side tonight should be enough to secure safety.

Albion suffered a 2-0 home defeat against Warrington Town on Saturday and will be looking to bounce back against Salford in what is their penultimate home match of the season.

Ossett Town are also in action tonight against Trafford at Ingfield (kick-off 7.45pm).

Craig Elliott’s men suffered a disappointing 4-0 defeat at Bamber Bridge on Saturday and will target a strong finish to the campaign, starting against promotion-chasing Trafford tonight.
