OSSETT duo Albion and Town are both in Evo-Stik Division 1 North action tonight looking to pick up precious points.
Town will look to continue their unbeaten start to the year by derailing Harrogate Railway Athletic at Stade France (kick-off 7.45pm).
Phil Sharpe’s men took a creditable point from their trip to Bamber Bridge at the weekend and beat ground-sharing rivals Wakefield FC 4-0 last time out on home soil.
Harrogate sit just a point behind Town going into tonight’s contest but have played five games more owing to Town’s prolonged FA Trophy run.
Sharpe is confident his men can rise up the league table by picking up points from their games-in-hand - they have up to seven on their rivals - and he’ll no doubt be aiming for three of those to come tonight.
Albion are one of the form sides of the division ahead of tonight’s trip to Radcliffe Borough (kick-off 7.45pm).
They’re unbeaten in their last seven league matches, with a 2-0 home win against Clitheroe on Saturday being their latest impressive result.
The victory saw the Warehouse Systems Stadium club climb out of the relegation zone at the weekend, at the expense of Wakefield FC, and they’ll be looking to stay above the drop zone for the remainder of the campaign.
Radcliffe sit four points above Albion ahead of tonight’s game but the Dimple Wells club will be targeting their Greater Manchester opponents as one of the teams to catch this season.
