OSSETT Town continue their battle against relegation with a trip to Stocksbridge Park Steels in the Evo-Stik Premier Division today (kick-off 3pm).

The games are running out for Phil Sharpe and his men to produce a great escape, with eight points between Town and safety going into their final five matches of the season.

Sharpe will face the tough task of lifting his troops following their confidence-sapping 6-1 home reverse against relegation rivals Hucknall Town on Tuesday night.

But Town have performed better away from their Stade France base and will look to make it three away wins on the spin in north Sheffield.

Ossett Albion’s fate looks all-but sealed in Division 1 North ahead of their home clash against Radcliffe Borough today.

Eric Gilchrist’s men sit 14 points adrift of safety and although they can still mathematically avoid the drop, a place in the Northern Counties East League next season looks the most likely outcome.

Wakefield FC will aim to stretch their unbeaten run to five matches when they travel to Warrington Town in Division 1 North.

The Bears haven’t lost in their last four games and have won their last three.

Boss Steve Nicholson will be keen to continue that form until the end of the season, starting with their trip to Cheshire.
