OSSETT Town will look to build on their creditable point against Evo-Stik Division 1 North promotion hopefuls AFC Fylde at the weekend when they host Salford City tonight (kick-off 7.45pm).

Eric Gilchrist collected one of his best points since taking charge at Town against second-placed Fylde on Saurday and the result should give his side plenty of confidence going into tonight’s Salford test.

The match at Stade France is the second of three home games on the spin for Town - and the second of six home matches in an important seven-game spell for the club.

The sides drew 2-2 in the reverse fixture last September and Salford come into the game sitting in mid-table in Division 1 North.

Town look safe sitting nine points off the relegation places in the 16th but Gilchrist will still be keen to add some points to make totally sure of their status.
