OSSETT Town have made three new signings ahead of the new Evo-Stik First Division North campaign
Town boss Craig Elliott has raided fellow First Division side Garforth Town to sign versatile midfielder Jamie Price. Elliott said: “Jamie is a fantastic addition to the team and brings with him a wealth of experience.
“He has played a major part in Garforth Town’s recent success and I look forward to working with him this season.”
Elliott’s new-look side should have plenty of goals in it next season after the signings of Sam Smith and Marcus Edwards.
The pair were among the leading goal scorers in the Northern Counties East League last season with Smith, 19, banging-in 33 for Division One champions Handsworth and Edwards, 21, netting 60 times in his last two terms at Eccleshill.
Elliott said: “Both Sam and Marcus are young, exciting and talented players and both have received significant interest from a number of Evo-Stik clubs.
“I am thrilled that both have chosen to join Ossett Town and I know that they will have a significant impact on the field this season.”
