Ossett Town have confirmed five pre-season friendly dates with the focus on local Northern Counties East League (NCEL) opposition.
Town boss Craig Elliott, who enjoyed success in his first year in charge at Ingfield following his switch from Glasshoughton Welfare, will return to a league he knows well to help prepare his team for the 2013-14 Evo-Stik Premier League campaign.
A trip to former club Glasshoughton has been penned in for Tuesday, July 30 (kick-off 7.30pm) following away matches at other NCEL clubs Pontefract Collieries, on Tuesday, July 23 (kick-off 7.30pm), and Liversedge, on Thursday, July 25 (kick-off 7.45pm). Town will also visit AFC Emley on Tuesday, August 6 (kick-off 7.45pm).
The Evo-Stik Division 1 North side will also be involved in a four-team tournament hosted by Nostell Miners Welfare, which also involves neighbours Ossett Albion and Wakefield FC.
The tournament will be held on Saturday, August 3 and Sunday August 4.
